Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)

Reporting directly to our Director of Engineering, you would build and develop the infrastructure for our cloud applications. This includes running and maintaining existing systems as well as working on greenfield projects together with our developers to expand our game backend which is used by millions of players world-wide.

Responsibilities
- Reliably operate our game backend for millions of players to ensure a fluent game experience
- Orchestrate and scale microservice architectures to deploy backend applications
- Create and manage cloud resources
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure-as-Code
- Implement exhaustive monitoring for our systems to ensure a healthy infrastructure
- Test our cloud infrastructure to identify bugs and bottlenecks
- Apply DevOps tools and methods to continuously improve our systems
Required skills
- Broad knowledge of Microsoft Azure and how its services can be leveraged to build cloud applications
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes to run microservices at scale
- Good knowledge of Docker to containerize applications
- Good understanding of monitoring practices utilizing tools such as Datadog
- Working knowledge of Terraform to codify infrastructure
- Proactive and self-directed way of working
Desirable skills
- Good command of database administration
- Working knowledge of a CI / CD framework such as GitLab CI
